Adiabatic systems

General explanation:

In the event of high outside temperatures, the inlet temperature could sink by adiabatic cooling of 4-8 °K (depends on air velocity, air flow and relative humidity. The adiabatic cooling device consist of a pipe system mounted on the air suction side. From the spraying nozzles, mounted on the pipe system, the water -in sputtered form- is sprayed into the inlet air. This causes a significant cooling by evaporation.

Here it is necessary in each case to use demineralised water, since it comes otherwise to calcifying the fins causing a capacity loss.

Therefore we recommend our blue fin coils with corrosion resistant and easy to clean fins.

Advantages:

Heat exchangers, equipped with an evaporative cooling can be space-saving and be planned in a more energy-saving and cost-saving execution due to the higher difference between air inlet and fluid outlet temperature.

It should be noted however with the fact that due to the requirement to the water quality, in most cases a water treatment station is necessary.

Cabero has complete systems including the control, mounted in a switch cabinet. Following components can be operated and controlled:

  1. magnetic valves and/or motor shut off valves with contactor and time limit relay
  2. automatic discharge by ambient air temperature sensors
  3. pumps or pumping stations (as option in redundancy)
